August7, IFIF public relation-Afghan official said that Afghanistan imports 1.5billion dollars goods from Iran and their annual exports to Iran, especially from Sistan-Baluchestan is 36 million dollars.

Visiting Chabahar Free Trade Zone which is located in south of Sistan-Baluchestan province in Iran, Afghan officials are to seek grounds for mutual cooperation and investment opportunities and follow up implementation of the MoUs signed between two countries.

Chabahar would be a gate for Afghanistan and central Asian countries to the Indian Ocean due to its suitable position so it plays and important role to pave the way for trade cooperation. In near future its capacity of loading and unloading will increase from 2.5 million tons to 5.8 million.
