Rome- Iranian trade delegations met their counterparts in Italy in order to improve relationship between the two countries in different fields.

IFIF Public Relations- during the official meeting between Iran trade delegates and Italian counterparts, food and agricultural industry was one of the main topics of discussions. In this meeting Maurizio Martina, Minister of agriculture, food and Forestry Policies, Mahmoud Hojjati Minister of Agriculture of Islamic Republic of Iran, Luigi Pio Scordamaglia the President of Federalimentare, Kaveh Zargaran, Secretary General of Iranian Food industries Federation, FAO representative and also a group of commercial activists met in Hotel Parco dei principi in Rome and negotiated in different topics.

In this specialized meeting the biggest companies in the field of agriculture like Fiat and Lamborghini in the field of machinery and agricultural equipment, Fishing Federation, livestock, remote sensing companies that are active in the field of harvest estimate, companies related to agricultural packing that is one of the important needs in Iran and Ferro company, one of the largest companies producing chocolate, were present.

According to Mr Zargaran, the secretary general of Iranian Food Industries Federation, warm welcoming of Italian commercial activists shows the growing relations between Iranian and Italian businessmen. We are looking forward of the future investment of Italian businessmen in Iran./S
