Iran, Indonesia to boost economic ties

December 14, IFIF public relation- At the 12th Iran-Indonesian Joint Economic Commission, Indonesian head of Chamber of Commerce and Industries Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said that Iran and Indonesia agreed to foster economic cooperation.
Based on the agreement, both countries are willing to expand cooperation in commerce, industry, investment opportunities, infrastructure projects, energy, banking, finance, information technology, tourism, research and technology know-how and environment.
Iran, Indonesia trade reached over 273 million in 2015 registering 48 percent growth comparing to the preceding period.
Roselani said that the two countries are exploring the grounds to increase the volume of the trade in post JCPOA era and the talks underway for facilitating banking ties.
Indonesia welcomes joint venture investments in Iran and Indonesia, he added.
