December 31, IFIF public relation- Iran`s non-oil exports to Pakistan amounted to $497.5 million, 1.2 million tons during the eight months to November 20, indicating 30% increase year-on-year.

According to the Iran Customs Administration’s census, petrochemicals, bitumen, gas, lead, vegetable seeds, carpet, pistachio and tiles were among the main exported commodities.

Pakistan presented the draft of FTA (free trade agreement) to Iran during the visit of president Rouhani to Pakistan, Iranian officials accepted the draft after adding their considerations and returned it to Pakistani authorities in mid-September.

Iran-Pakistan trade exchange peaked in 2012 exceeding 3 billion dollars.
