Tatarstan calls for expanding joint ventures with Iran

January21, IFIF public relation- Tatar Parliament Speaker Ferit Mukhametshin called for boosting bilateral ties with Iran in different fields.
In a meeting with an Iranian delegation in Tatarstan the Tatar parliament speaker Mukhametshin called for expanding parliamentary relations and fostering economic ties.
The Iranian delegation pointed out that the mutual cooperation especially in oil production and export has increased after in Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Tatar President Rostam Minnikhanov in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanayee called for boosting economic and all-out relations especially in the energy sector.
Sanayee underlined the importance of bilateral ties and said that the first meeting for scientific and technological cooperation will be held in Moscow in September.
The Iranian ambassador also pointed to the export of Iran's dairy products to Russia, and expressed the hope that Tatarstan and other republics on the banks of River Volga would take part in serious trade interactions with Iran.
