Greek Deputy Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos expressed the outlook of Tehran- Athens relation promising and said that Greek firms are willing to play important role in Iran`s economic projects.

The officials of both countries hopes for expanding bilateral ties in various fields.

Iran has the benefit of high industrial capabilities as well as huge resources of oil and gas while Greece with its industrial and agricultural products and fish farming can boost relations with Iran in different economic and trade areas.

In relevant remarks in late December, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Katrougalos in a meeting in Tehran underlined the need to expand mutual cooperation in different areas
