Iran, Luxembourg ink an agreement
February 13, IFIF public relation- An agreement for mutual encouragement and supporting investment was inked between the two officials of Iran and Luxembourg.
Finance Minister Ali Tayyebnia said that Iran`s policy is to expand cooperation with Europe especially Luxembourg and the agreement is the indication of the two countries willingness to boost economic ties.
Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn expressed his dissatisfaction with the level of bilateral banking ties.
Expressing Iran’s interest to sign an agreement for avoiding double taxation, Tayyebnia said that the accord can contribute to enhancement of bilateral ties.
Iranian minister added” Iran’s capital market is also willing to establish relation with Luxembourg’s financial institutes”.
During the meeting, Asselborn voiced his country’s interest to cooperate with Iran in the fields of aerial transportation and investment.
