Iran, Serbia call for expansion of agricultural cooperation

He said in a meeting with the Serbian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Water Economy Bogdan Igich in Belgrade.
Due to high quality and low price of the Iranian agricultural products, there are many countries in the market for Iranian products, he said while expressing the hope that Serbian people will have the chance to benefit from Iran's healthy products.
Grounds are also well-prepared for the expansion of cooperation in fish farming between the two countries, the Iranian envoy said.
Serbia seeks to import various types of vegetables, citrus and other garden products from Iran, Bogdan Ignich said.
They also examined grounds for exchange of university students and professors as well as scientific cooperation between the two countries.
He also invited the Iranian investors to come to Serbia and take advantage of the government's facilities for foreign investors, he said.
