German biggest banking group keen on cooperating with Iran despite US sanctions
A German group of six Volksbanks wants, despite US sanctions, to continue providing financial services to companies that want to export goods and services to Iran.

The banking group has called on its six major branches in various German cities to continue cooperation with Iran despite US threats.
Volksbank institutions in Wurttemberg, Pforzheim, Heilbronn, Konstanze, Schwarzwald-Donau-Neckar and Volksbank-Uni are the members of this group.
US President Donald Trump pulled the country out of the landmark nuclear deal officially known as the JCPOA, saying that sanctions lifted by JCPOA will be reinstated.
Trump’s decision drew fierce criticism from its partners in the deal and international community.
